The Forest Legion is part of the community and assists in many ways.

• We support minor sports, seniors activities, community projects and especially veterans and their spouses

• We have hospital equipment to lend out at no charge
  
• Our building is available to rent for weddings, anniversaries, birthday parties and other events
  
• Our youth education program is meant to educate students on the importance of Remembrance Day with the Poster, Poem & Essay Contests.  Additionally, our Public Speaking Contest helps students prepare for their future.
  
• We also offer bursaries.  Please contact the legion if you are interested. ​

We are dedicated to keeping the memories of all our fallen soliers alive in our hearts and minds.  But that's not all what we are about.  We are continually working with local organizations and groups to promote wellness, improve lines and support where it is needed.  Over the last few years our branch has donated over $16,000 annually to many community charitable entities.

Did you know?

Forest Legion Br. 176 lends out medical mobility aids to the general public free of charge on an emergency or temporary basis. Just home from the hospital and require a wheel chair or a 4 wheel walker rollator temporarily to get around? Do you need crutches or a cane? Are you in need of bathroom assist safety devices such as grab bars, bathtub chairs or raised toilet seats? We are here to help. Just call the branch and let us know your needs and we will try and accommodate you.
